PROFILE:
Dr. Shravan Kumar Pandey is an Academic of IGNOU working as Assistant Regional Director since 2012 He has completed his post graduation and doctorate in Horticulture and had worked as SMS -Horticulture for more than 06 years at Krishi Vigayan Kendra at Chaundauli and Ghazipur Districts. He had organized several trainings for capacity building of Inservice personnel (More than 19) employment generation trainings of unemployed youth(More than 22) and updating technological skills to practicing farmers (More than 53) and conducted more than 10 on farm trials on technology interventions in agriculture before the joining IGNOU as Subject Matter Specialist Horticulture. He has been engaged in researches to generate information/feedback of agricultural technology and its improvement. He has published presented research papers in more than 15 national/international seminars and symposium.
In IGNOU , Dr. Shravan Kumar Pandey has worked for more than 07 years at IGNOU Regional Centre Darbhanga and Varanasi as ARD to cater the higher education in deprived section of society and enable the unreached by providing opportunities of higher education to join main stream of national development. He completed his Master of Art in Distance Education and conducted surveys on strengthening the student support service at Learners support centre. More 15 research papers ,03 book chapters and 02 manuals have been published by him in reputed journals and publishers. In spite of these, his working experience in IGNOU as Assistant Regional Director since April 2012, He developed his quality and skill of coordination, management and administration as team leader with the helping and cooperative attitude to manage large numbers of IGNOU Study Centres academically and administratively with top down and bottom up approach.
